All of which are fairly dynamic. Not very useful though.

I was astonished when he actually pitched a cross when Martial headed against the post in the FA Cup Final.

Astonished, Jeff.

no offence, but that's just nonsense. he is certainly one of the best at united at receiving and releasing the ball under pressure, and like I said he's also one of the best in the PL.
Like the quarter final right ?

He's strong, he's honest and he works his socks off; also takes a 40 yard ball out of the air like few others can. However his staggering lack of intelligence, and woefully inadequate all round technique means he should never be wearing the shirt of a serious, fully staffed Man Utd team.

Gulp - have to admit though, that's pretty much right. Still, love Tone. Irrational though that is.

nope.

we signed valencia because he was a powerful right midfielder that had proved himself in the PL after being one of the standout players in the group phase at the 2006 world cup.

after ronaldo went ferguson needed a formula to replace his goals.

rooney ronaldo and tevez hit 61 in 08/09 (including 4 at the club world cup)

rooney owen and valencia hit 50 in 09/10, but overall the team scored 18 more league goals than in ronaldo's last season.

You could rewrite anything to prove your point. If he was such and outstanding creative mastermind why does he now play right back for us ?

I don't mind if you just said I like him

He was actually good as a winger at first and was voted poty at least erm ... Once? Seemed to go downhill after the injury and if ever he needed an excuse to play the easy/safe ball, big Luis gave it to him. I just love watching him tackle and players bounce off him. Almost never, does he not come away with the ball.

Used to love the way he didn't dribble past players but just ran through them. Sadly, no more.

He's lost his positivity and aggression.

He was always limited, but he was powerful AND positive. He would just go at defenders and brush past them, but with real intent.

He scored at Wolves once where he got the ball around the halfway line and just blitzed it in a straight line til he was one on one with the keeper. Not exactly sophisticated, but if that was now, he'd immediately look for a ball inside. Then, he only had one thing in mind: get in on goal as quickly as possible.

That's attitude and confidence and that hasn't been there for about five years.

He's quite steady and reliable so I'd keep him around as a squad player, but there is no way he should be first choice RB next season.

Must admit, I find myself laughing when he stops and does a 180 degree turn to get in on his right foot, as long as we're not chasing the game. Really is absurd that a player at this level can't even make the simplest, shortest pass with his left.

Ronaldo did more than just score goals, you clueless, try-hard tit.

He was a player that our entire attacking philosophy was based around; the way he carried the ball deep into the opposition half, instantly turning defence into attack; the adaptability in the way he could target any player across the opposition's defensive line; the sheer level of entertainment, courage and bravery in his play, and subsequently that of the whole team. None of these things were replaced effectively enough with the 'formula'of signing Antonio Valencia and Michael £#%&!ing Owen.

Valencia is a disgusting coward of a footballer who has no right wearing a United shirt. The fact he's a winger who lacked so much attacking intent that he's been forced to become a shit full-back is embarrassing. The @#%&! is the personification of the antithesis of Manchester United.

how about you don't make yourself look stupid by saying tony v was so negative that he had to become a right back?

he has played at right back when we didn't have any other option and he has been very positive there, allowing for the obvious positional deficiencies with him not actually being a right back.

he's also not a ronaldo-type player. he's more like paul ince. sure, he could be a bit more of a risk taker (but then carrick should shoot more too), but he has been tasked by king louis... along with everyone else.... with not losing possession.

if you view him as a dynamic, more defensive midfielder, suddenly you will stop worrying about his inability to dance through a team like giggs then cross like beckham. and you'll appreciate that he's a tough little bugger with a bit of pace when the space opens up in front of him.

anyone who hates tony v is an idiot.
