And if they aren't a great European club, having been to five European Cup finals and won it twice, then are we having been to three and won it thrice? If they win it this season then certainly I don't think can be any doubt about their European pedigree.

Possibly. Hardly like for like though. I would say Ronaldo is going nowhere though.

If he did and we went for Ribery, do you think we would want to deal with Bayern again after the Hargreaves thing?

Also, Ribery has always talked down playing in the PL, I don't think he fancies it.

Valdes is a local boy though. Can see him being there for years to come

I have some inside info as well.

He has intimated through his agent that he wants to come apparently.

Wasn't he quoted in the papers not too long ago saying he'd love to play for United or Chelsea or Arsenal or Liverpool, something like that?.

Fair points, they've been superb this season - but this happens every year.

I wouldn't mind if we drew them tbh.

Neither would I as it would mean we are in the final.

VfL Wolfsburg must be better than "Barca" because they put 5 past Bayern at the weekend.

No it doesn't. Most on here thought the semi finals would be a walk over last season, given Barca's shit form. Even then, at our best, we struggled past them.

They've been the outstanding side in any of the major European leagues this season. Hopefully they'll meet us in the final and we'll bring them back down to Earth
