I know you were and the answer is: I don't know.

Hope this helps

Yep. And when he wasn't getting kicked his shirt was getting pulled. Complete £#%&!ing joke.

Spot on.

That's something Rooney suffers from as well.
The amount of times he has defenders pulling at him..hacking at him from behind, but because he stays on his feet he gets £#%&! all off the refs.
From what I saw last night it looks like we might have another player in the side that refs refuse to award freekicks to - Carlos Tevez.

The biggest myth in football is that we get prefferential treatment from referees. It costs us time after time.

It'll happen to Anderson as well. He'll get no protection from the refs and will might well end up getting injured. It happened to him in Portugal and at the U-17 World Cup, so can only imagine what it'll be like in England, especially playing for United.

I watched football first, and even in the extended highlights you could see they'd just set out to kick him round the park. Redknapp probably saw that Bennett was the ref and thought with his track record they could get away with murder on Ronaldo.

Ronaldo broke away in the 2nd half down the right and Matt Taylor virtually tore the shirt off his back - a blatant cynical foul designed to prevent us from catching them on the break. Was he even booked? Nope. And as for that clogger Muntari, he could have seen red about 5 times over before Bennett was forced to show him a 2nd yellow after his latest wild lunge.

Even Lee Dixon, the bluenose that he is, was forced to admit on MOTD that he gets lumps kicked out of him every week.

The lad shows tremendous restraint when faced with extreme provocation every single time he goes on the pitch. There's usually 30,000 fans booing and abusing him and a man marker with very little talent trying to wind him up or stick his studs through his chest. Very few people can possibly know what that's like, especially for a young man. All this hypocritical, holier than thou "He shouldn't react" talk is very rich, especially coming from Fergie who can't restrain himself in press conferences half the time.

What would be very good would be for MUTV to put together a compilation video of all the fouls like those mentioned above, that have gone unpunished and start running them during advert breaks. That'd be interesting. Be even better if they ordered it by which referee was officiating.
