Got to admit that’s a strong argument for one more season.

I don’t know, I just don’t feel it with ETH but I’m going to guess Arsenal fans felt the same about arteta.

It's a wonder some on here bother.

Thick & thin - isn't that what it's all about? So we're shite now, so what? We've been shite before and we'll be shite again. The good times will come around again

Pissing and whining about it all the time isn't healthy

perfectly legitimate, if you were also saying this to everyone who pissed and whined about Moyes, LVG, mourinho, solskjaer, ragnick, Giggs...

I think I'm one of the lucky ones that has been around when we were shite then the best in the world for a while.

We still win trophies even though we're garbage so it's not as bad

This is where I am with things. For years I just wanted to win the league. Then we won it £#%&!ing loads and we won more things than I ever thought we would. I doubt we'll get back there again in my lifetime but I would like to have a good chance of trying and I reckon that keeping changing managers and sqauds doesn't help so I think we should stick with Erik.

De Zerbi has certainly blown any chance of getting Utd job with those big defeats suffered

Apart from Klopp getting to the CL final in that second season, instead of finishing 4th in the group which doesn't seem to have been mentioned.

And the dippers clearly getting better and progressing as time passed.

No matter where everyone stands on the manager there seems to be an overwhelming consensus that the biggest issue at the club is the players so if keeping him for another season means it's more probable that we shift some of the shit@#%&!s then it's the most compelling reason to do so.

Granted every single argument in favour of keeping him has absolutely nothing to do with the man or his skillset and no-one is confident that things will get much better next year but we are where we are. I agree that getting a former Brighton manager in probably won't improve us but it's also true that we couldn't get much worse. On the bright side most of us are middle aged or worse and will likely be dead soon

I'd just like to add, I'd LIKE to see EtH turn us around because he is a nice fella. I just don't see him doing it after seeing his tactics etc this season.
