We usually go to the Arch when we're on this side as it's got a big outside area and it's gonna be sunny Satdee

Used to live opposite the Green Man and then the Torch back in the day for a while. Amazed at the amount of pubs/bars round there now, wasn't a great deal back then. Rarely drank in the Arch (remember it as the Greyhound) although did have a few fumbles with a rather accommodating Irish barmaid from there. Used to drink mostly in the pub opposite. After a nostalgic Google Earth wander I see it's called Station 31 now but used to be the Dog & Duck (I think?). Can also see St Josephs Irish Club (great for cheap drinks) is now a childrens house/child care facility of some sort.

There are actually. Just phoned - £65 and £80. But I need 2 for me and the lad and there aren't any pairs left. Any solo Simons should give them a call though.
