If that had been a United player we'd be screaming for it.

Yes he has made the most of it but it's a good-un, it's actually believable that the defender hit his leg enough whilst it was off the ground to mean he ended up kicking his own leg...

I think he could have carried-on but he has 'earned' that one
I don't buy this 'earning' stuff. I can't see any contact from the defender at all personally, or certainly not enough to make him go down. All I see is Bale kicking himself and jumping to the floor.

Great 2nd goal though

There's another angle that shows definite contact imo.

I expect the Welshies will see it as poetic justice, anyway

I agree with you Maoers. The reason he kicks his own leg is there is contact from the defender, knocking his foot toward his other leg.

Blatant pen. Even if you can't see the contact there, the natural way he goes down suggests it was there. You can't fake going to the ground. That's why Suarez looks like a £#%&!ing #@&%!

As soon as he feels any contact he decides that he's hitting the deck. Doesn't look natural at all (nor does the dive). Cheating imo. If it was Suarez we'd all be calling him on it.

Agree- can easily kick your own leg if you wanted. Will give monkey boy the benefit of the doubt on this one, probably was a slight touch.
