Nobody sees it, you are living so far in the past that you are seeing something that became irrelevant 10 years ago as the future.

I think you'll find that no recognised football formations are irrelevant. I think you'll also find that, for example, Chelsea were 3-5-2 for much of the second half just yesterday. And I think you'll find that a team with more attacking flair and verve than the mercenaries would play some seriously beautiful football given mastery of this fine system.
