Would be a very good signing.
Yep.

Been getting abuse for this for years but honestly see little in what valencia adds to the team going forward aswell as at the back, constantly falls asleep. Lost count how many times he has let us down in big games.

Very very confident going into the season if we pull off Aurier, Ibra and a winger. Signings to add more balance, goals and spirit in the squad.

We seem to be a world away from the meek bunch we had under lvg.

Id play Mitchell sunday we are crying out for attacking fullbacks ..football is harsh but Valencia wouldn't be always starting either no matter how decent he was last season . fabinho in and this lad or Mitchell till shaw gets himself fit

Valencia was easily one of our best players last night
The only one of our defence who had the balls to play when under pressure

He'll need to be replaced maybe next summer but for this season he's the least of our worries

Left back on the other hand is a huge issue
Shaw

Read somewhere that this bloke can play both left and right back?

Long term Tony replacement but stick him at lb until then

Might give Shaw the rocket up the arse he needs, if he doesn't improve this season then flog him to Spurs.

He was one of our best last season. But that says more about the other @#%&!s than him.

Did okay last night, actually got behind them and got a decent cross in a couple of times late in the first half. Poor on their second though, but we're all human.

Also means less chance we sign Danny Rose as he can fill in at LB

Shaw
Love Tone and he was one of our best last night but he was stood daydreaming/ball watching for their offside goal. Could've done better with the second too. Sometimes think him being a transformed defender, it doesn't come naturally to him to watch the space and the runners instead of just the ball.

Apparently it's the third time since April that the press have run the '5 year deal signed' headline...

Di Marzio saying that his agent is meeting with Inter representatives and Chelsea are monitoring the situation. Doesn't mention us

We have actually said we aren't interested, haven't we?

Reckon our spending is done tbh.

Absolutely right that pure. City are out buying 2 specialists for each position, we're shoehorning any old £#%&!er into whatever role is crying out for someone; Blind, Rojo, Young @LB, Valencia, Young @RB, Rashford RW and LW, Mata RW ffs No wonder we're a disjointed mess most of the time.
