We'll not win at Sunderland so irrelevant imo.

Remember that time some @#%&! like Blackburn lost on the last day but we couldn't capitalise, got beat off some shitknockers like West Ham?

Newcastle were never going to do it today.
city do have previous for last day of season comedy moments.

Sadly there's absolutely no way it'll happen, so just get used to mental image of the likes of that #@&%! Joe Hart holding the trophy aloft above his shit boyband reject haircut.

Yeah but we won the European Cup that year so all similarities are purely coincidental.

best we can hope for is road closures and a Hurricane to completely £#%&!ing ruin their parade.

Wish Fergie had called it a day at the e/o last season with his reputation intact.. a proud man bowing out at the top.

However, this was day pretty inevitable, I'd just rather it'd happened on someone else's watch !

You might think so but back in 1968 we were 2 points clears (when it was 2 points for a win) when both ourselves and city were playing on the same Monday night with 3 games left (same as this season).

We lost 6-3 at West Brom and city beat Everton 2-0 at Home*. city went top on Goal Average. They won their last two games while we lost to Sunderland on the final day.

Scarily similar. Cannot believe 2 of city's 3 titles will be by beating us in a title race

* Just checked their attendance for their last home game of a season when they won the league - 37,776 (£#%&!ing awful):shakehead:
