This was mentioned yesterday.

So did Cleverley.

Not sure what the fuss is about, smacks of sponsorship hard sell more than anything else.

1) Cleverley has changed his too

2) He never had United in the first place.

Personally I'm more interested in the fact he (and Nani) hasn't made a comment on Fergie's retirement yet.

That's about the seventh time it's been posted.

He did it in April apparently, along with Cleverley.

I'm fairly apathetic.

I think his contribution has been fairly badly under-appreciated this season, which is understandable following a severe dip in form and his apparent desire to £#%&! off. That said, I didn't cry when Ronaldo left, so I won't shed any tears about Rooney.

I've always said, if they want to £#%&! off, £#%&! them off.

Perhaps it would be easier if you just listed the players you don't want sold, pal?

Most worrying thing about this story is that he genuinely believes he's an athlete.

Rooney was one of my favourite players in the last 8/9 years. But him saying he wanted to leave and then signing a bumper deal i felt let down and thought he was holding club to ransom. I can see why he is angry at not playing, but no need to treat the club with no respect, if he doesn't want to be here, show him the door, get some good money and send him abroad...

They all come and go. The only ones worthy of a bit of wailing are once-in-a-generation geniuses like Cantona or Ronaldo, and club legends like Robbo, Scholes, Giggs. Rooney's nowhere near those.
