Apparently there was a poll in today's NotW which says 39% blame Rooney the most for England's flop

Lovely, means the start of the season is almost upon us.

He was dreadful though.

I too would love him to £#%&! them off, still plus side he will not be sold now

Clarkson did a piece in the sun last week saying pretty much the same thing and Rooney was a disgrace for not singing the national anthem whereas JT sang his lion heart out, Gawd bless him.

You really could not make it up. Everybody else is totally absolved of any blame and instead Rooney is going to be the whipping boy.

Obvioulsy England's world class defending was seriously undermined by Wayne not scoring 10 goals every game. I mean what other explanation could there be for John Terry, Matthew Upson and Gareth Barry being utterly destroyed infront of billions of people Live in 3-D high definition?
