And we only lost 6 games all season in all competitions, the same as the "unbeaten" arsenal side.
For the bonus point, who did Pally score against? No cheating

tight between the obvious two but 06/07 would be my personal call based on witnessing it first hand rather than 93/94 which was mainly TV based. plus being alot younger back then.

Plus the chelsea factor thrown in, they had the billionaire, the trendy mouthy manager and back to back league titles with huge bar raising point totals.

We were not even slightly fancied that year, the manager had been written off and i remember exactly how i felt about ronaldo after the nil nil game v sunderland over easter 2006, then the feeling i got watching chelsea hammer us 3-0 a week or so later and hearing the trophy lifting roar from the platform at fulham broadway.

amazing year, ronaldo at fulham and o'shea in front of the kop. nothing beats how you feel at those moments.

He only scored one this season.....

I'll give you a clue - it was a league game at Old Trafford and we won 3-1

Against a team that doesn't exist anymore? Technically.

I don't know how any of you remember all this stuff. I don't even know which my first and last games are. One of the sames I remember the most is when Bruce scored the 2 last minute goals against Sheff Wednesday. I only remember this game because I was so pissed off because I wasn't there and was sat in a car on Polzeath beach

Well if you weren't gonna be at the game then I can't think of anywhere better to be.

Love Polzeath, lovely place.

93/94.

For me, it was the realisation that we at last had a team that matched our status as a club. I was going to say, matched the aspirations of the supporters but I can't remember anyone expecting that much at the time - certainly nothing like what's been delivered since.

Anyway, that's why that team is so important.

Everything since then has been a variation of a theme for me.

93/94, the only team I can remember with a guaranteed first 11, and quality in every position. Pace, power, intelligence, creativity, goals, a rock-solid defence, at least three world-class players and an excellent proportion of nutters.
