Default What season do you think United played their best football?

You can go for any year you like, but the following stick out in my mind immediately as being fantastic years watching us play.

1993-94?
1998-99?
1999-2000?
2006-2007?

For me, I'd have to go for 2006/7. We played some electric football that year and it was truly a pleasure to watch every week.

Just shades 1993/94 for me.

2006/2007 played the better football, but 93/94 were the better team. We've had some great teams

93-94. What a spine that side had.

Schmeical in goal.

Bruce and Pally in defence.

Ince and Keane in midfield.

Eric and Hughes up front.

I can remember a fair bit. I was 13 when the 1993/94 started, I remember we £#%&!ing pasted everybody in sight and we were 14 points clear at christmas I think. Then we started to wobble a bit towards the finish line when blackburn put us under a bit of pressure.

I've plumped for 2006/7 because I think they played more intricate, varied football. The interchanging between the front 3 was pure magic. Also they were doing it against far superior opposition and in europe too.

93-94 for me... we could outplay and outscrap any team.

However the 99-00 team for me was just shaded... we just outplayed everyone that season banging in goals for fun.

Gotta be 93-94 like most have said.

We never looked like being beaten and everyone was genuinely fearful of playing us.

The team had everything, it had power, aggression, skill and pace and goals came from all over the team, even Pally scored one

And we only lost 6 games all season in all competitions, the same as the "unbeaten" arsenal side.
