Bar for three positions on the pitch, we have very good players. Sort even two of those three positions and we'll win the CL maybe even next year.

We've certainly underperformed in this competition ..as well as having plenty of bad luck too. We should have won it in 09 &/or 2010 imo.
We could never win it in the manner of Chelsea & Liverpool because we wouldn't be 'allowed' to throw the League in order to have everything ready to give in the European games. It just doesn't work like that at United.

We had a 9 year gap between Nou Camp & Moscow..next year will be 6 years since Moscow.
Of course we'll win it again but it's not getting any easier with the Oil Clubs spending obscene money every year.
Madrid have gone 11 years without winning it, Bayern had to wait 12 years.
Would be awful if the likes of City, PSG & Chelsea start to dominate it over the next 4-5 years

Simple fact is, along with a decent team, you need loads of luck as well to win the CL.
