Felt for him a little tonight tbh

Showed some nice touches to bring Hazard into the game a few times, but didn’t really get anything like decent service and the chances that did come his way were half ones at best.

Thumbs up

He’s grown on me during this tourney. Some of his hold-up and link-up play has been absurdly good, and that’s the area of his game that was probably once his weakest.

Starting to like him a lot as a character, too; seems like a leader, and a winner. Think he could be a great player for us. Needs a MotM big-game performance for us, but I think it will come.

Will explode next season. 30+ league goals, easy.

Agreed. People slating him tonight after a tough game. Funny this thread didn’t get bumped after the Brazil game.

That assist for the De Bruyne goal against Brazil. Big Rom absolutely monstering through their midfield.

Think he’s going to get better and better. Had my doubts last season, but he’s improving massively. Also seems to be very strong mentally, which is essential to success at United.

Sometimes half chances are all you get in huge games such as World Cup semi-finals. He had a decent tactical performance against Brazil, but like tonight wasn’t sharp enough most of the time. He’s still got levels to go if he wants to reach the elite bracket.

Still shite and the turd was polished by De Bruyner and Hazard in this WC

And they don’t play for us

Lazy entitled @#%&! only scores when it’s perfectly placed on his toe or forehead.

Eric would have been after that last driven cross/ De Bruyner pass like it was a Palace fan. Rudd wouldn’t have been caught on his heels.

The ball he put in for Lukaku to stare at was superb.

He's been good in flashes but is an arrogant little shit, so enjoyed watching him fail to produce.

Hazard had a better world cup.

Yeah he shouldn't be judged on tough games.

This. If you were a Belgium fan you'd be pissed off with him right now.

Could tell from his face he knew he should have been onto that.

It happens. Just something predictable about Rom tucking against Panama and Tunisia but not Brazil or France.

Good to see everyone on the same page regarding big Rom

Flat track bully in terms of goals, but he's getting better at holding it up and bringing others into the game if he's not doing the business himself.

Should be scoring 30 a season in the league tbh, which is really why we bought him. Gets a first season pass and I'm sure he'll improve. Guess we'll find out...

Well summarised. Still pissed off with him spewing the FA cup final. Reserve right to slate at a later date.

Getting better, but 4 goals against Panama and Tunisia is a bit piss poor.. Does not have that killer instinct in front of goal that top goal scores have..

Pretty sure the semis are generally regarded as bigger than the quarter finals tbf, kind of how it works

Incredible that he bullied that famously strong Brazilian defence though.
