Yeah. I'd like him actually involved in the game rather than getting the shit kicked out of him by Kompany et al, as happened last week.

Rooney is far more effective for the team play from the left. As evidenced when he moved out there last week at the council house and suddenly became a threat.

I daresay he could swap and change with Diouf too.

OK, but we've played him mainly up front this season and hes got 20 goals already and is carrying the team so id have to disagree with you there.

On the grounds that in 25 mins in the first team he's scored one goal and looked like he could score one in the first leg.

He's also big and awkward and was the only person attacking the corners in the first leg. We have no other height in the box when attacking.
