Pretty clear now that he sees Casimero/Eriksen as the first choice with Fred as back up.

ETH has successfully rotated the defence but hasn't given these two much rest .
Thought The Scottish Player might get some minutes last night as presumably he'll be playing Tuesday

Fred looks good when he comes on as a sub. Adds a huge amount and energy and work. Just don’t want him to ever start. Not bothered if we never see mctom ever again.

Need Casimero/Eriksen for City so expect The Scottish Player/Fred to start against Charlton - the first choices need some rest.

Desperate for a couple of genuine options that can play football and graft.

tbh, cass and eriksen is not a midfield. we need a more mobile, sturdy, defensive-minded player next to cass. it's a question of balance. playing with eriksen and bruno is a bit of a luxury. cass and eriksen are calm and cultured... lovely to watch. but expecting them to motor around against a young and dynamic three-man midfield is expecting too much.

Eriksen will get replaced in the summer and be a rotation option for the new player and Bruno.

We'll still need a back up for Casemiro. If he or Eriksen gets injured we're £#%&!ed. It's game over.

Eriksen is a good stop gap but we need better.

Mainoo and Mejbri are interesting options beyond this season.

Thr former looks nailed on to be a first team regular. Latter doing well on loan, but may benefit from another year away.

Mejbri needs a season in the prem I think. He’s clearly too good for the championship. As does diallo. I think a year for each of them in the prem to a semi decent team with games would do them the world of good

Say a wolves or Fulham type team. I think it’s a waste if they’re at relegation fodder. Suppose you take the risk of them not playing as many games though
