If chelsea had won all these games 1-0 and conceeded a mere 2 goals..

..all we'd be hearing is how 'clinical' they were and how it's the 'hallmark of champions' to grind out 1-0's.

But when it's us? It's a 'goalscoring crisis'. We are judged by a completely different standard to every other £#%&!ing club in this country. We have to win, otherwise we're in crisis. But not only do we HAVE to win, we have to win by a country mile or..we're in crisis.

Compare this with the massive leeway Arsene Wenger and his Arsenal 'kids' have been given over the last 3 years, when judging their performances and results. Pretty much plodding along without so much as a bad word from the press and media. Then, after 4 years of inconsistency and woeful under achievement, they decide to start winning again and wouldn't you know it they're the greatest team ever. Again.

Unbelievable.

Hardly unbelievable when even our own fans do it. Rest assured there will be plenty of people on here over the next 24 hours moaning about the manner of our victory.

Why do you want the media to suck up to United? They only ever did it before in 1991-1993 when it looked inevitable that we'd finally get the title monkey off our backs, and even then only so they could have a pop at us, which they've done since.

£#%&! them. The siege mentality works well for our team, but much better for the supporters. Would going away be half as much fun if the opposition's fans weren't absolutely gutted when we beat them?

Long may it continue. After all, it doesn't affect what we can see with our own eyes, does it? WE know what's going on. That's all that really matters.

Arsenal have had two 1-0s in a row but they play pure football.

Winning while playing poorly can only keep up for so long. Chelsea found that out last season and we have got away with it in the last few games, tonight we could easily have conceded 2/3 goals.

If all 1-0 were like tonight's match I'd be happy. Cracking match.

It's far, far too early in the season to be playing great football.

We will win the league this season. Put your house on it.

Injuries and suspensions to arguably a 3 most important players with a new player coming in who is woefully out of shape. I'll worry about it if we are struggling to score in 4-5 games time.

Some people just aren't happy unless they have got something to bitch, moan and whinge about tbh. Don't pay any attention to the mentally defunct #@&%! stains.

Ferguson is a tough-talking Glaswegian and thus incapable of making his teams play attractive football or understanding tactics.

Wenger is a Frenchman who wears glasses and is therefore an artist and a master strategist.

We are Manchester United and for us just winning is not enough, we have to play with style. I don't want us to be compared to other clubs because we are better than them.

That said, I'm not too bothered about the 1-0s because we are playing some good football and creating some good chances. The goals will come

He sent his teams out to win one nil, cynically and strangle the life out of games on a lot of occasions after his first season. We are winning games one nil because we are playing pretty shite atm due to much discussed circumstances but the defence is bang on.

A couple of seasons ago people on these forums were slagging Chelsea for grinding out 1-0 results,a few had said they would rather play attacking football.

Sorry but that sounds like the whine of a scouser, we played free flowing beautiful football last year and we are not doing this year so the media are going to notice it. What do you want? Everyone to kiss our arse all the time? Get a grip man.
