The utter bastard.
Especially lucky that he got injured at convenient times, some might say

Default Impressing the Boss!

That's what Scott's done, he is doing what he's told by Jose, without sulking, without arguing he'd be better off in another position.
He seems to have come out of nowhere, Youth team sources suggested until he suddenly shot up to 6ft 4inchs last year he might have been gone from OT?
The important thing for youngsters like him is they 'seize the day' and show some improvement every game or every other game, he's not hit his 'personal wall' yet, so keep up the good work lad.

Well said. Sorry Neverers, but sometimes you have to 'be cruel to be kind'

Remember though, 'what doesn't kill you makes you stronger'

Yeah, he would've been booted out of the club if hadn't grown those couple of inches. Mou hates small players, absolutely hates them... *cough Sanchez cough Mata*

What an advantage it must be to go through all the youth set up quite small and have to have excellent technique to keep up with the monsters and then grow into a monster your self very late. It must have done his development the world of good.

Matic was asked what does jose demand from a midfield player and he said

“To fight for the team and not to let the opponent big space to play”

Agreed, he's obviously disciplined and follows Jose's instructions which Mourinho absolutely loves in a player. It'd be a shame if he was just being being used as a pawn in the Pogba situation though.

I love it when young players come through, whether they go on to play a big part or not

Support them. They know what it means to play for the club
