I feel the required period of time has now elapsed that I can safely ask these questions

there is really no need for sarcasm, custer

I just need answers, I mean if, for example, robbie fowler died, would carra and steeeeeevie point to the ground in a mark of respect ?

I think he is milking it for all its worth, Wes's dad died a couple of months ago and he just got on with it.

Maybe its a cockney thing?

i think it is slightly distasteful. if and god forbid it doesn't happen any time soon i was in that situation i think public shows like that would be the last thing i would think o0f.

I wonder how my colleagues would have felt if, a month after my dad died, I shouted 'this one's for Bernard!' and pointed to the heavens as I completed a tricky report.

Might try it tomorrow actually.

I remember vividly that in the months after my dad died, every time I completed a report concerning a childs progress in the childrens home I would run to the corner of the room,slide on my knees, and mouth the words"I owe it all to you , Les"
