I thought that, the way he just disappeared, maybe a deal has been done with Barca or someone and Chelsea have seen their arse and told him to £#%&! off for a few days.

It's not pleasant.

I had it a few years back but discharged myself from hospital after a week. It wasn't much fun though.

My gran had pneumonia over Christmas and then contracted c-dif in hospital. In her words she only survived because she's a 'tough old bugger from oldham'.

Pnumonia is one of the most common killers of the elderly.

Didn't Lampard go 130 games without missing one?

Marlo, I know you just like to see the reply count go up and you're prepared to say pretty much anything to get a response but even for you this is lame. The Marlo who pretends he's an accountant wouldn't have done this. When's it his turn on the log in?

He'd be able to do it under anyone, because there are more important things than football, such as your mum potentially dying. Get a grip.

I wouldn't think twice to be honest. Also, if we had a star player and we insisted that he played instead of seeing his ill mother, I'd expect a demotivated player and someone who doesn't feel valued.

If this was any player at any club before any game, I'd expect them to be sent to see their mother whether the player wanted it or not.
