Said he'd win POTY in the twici thread. Starting to doubt that simply because he'll have to be faultless for years before he's recognised ahead of the worldies we've accumulated recently, but hes skill.

Thumbs up

always thought he was too short to be a centre half in the premier league, but he has started the season brilliantly. delighted for him and bunks

Still got a lot more proving to be done; good start to the season but tempered that we've played average teams so far.

This. Looking good and Bailly and Shaw either side of him looks a great fit, but it's not as if he's been tested at all thus far.

They said this last year though then he had aguero, vardy etc in his pocket.....everyone kept naming the games he would fail on

He sat half the Liverpool team down..

He's done it against the top strikers in the league and made the first few games of this season a breeze...

Yesterday he was level up, getting forward as well.,..

Yeah. Alright then.

Tell us all the one about Darmian being World Class again.. How amazing Rojo is etc.

Blind was a weak link on many occasions last season, maybe Baiily and Shaw coming in are going to give him the support/bolstering required for him to actually flourish at CB, the height of Zlat, Pogba and Fellaini making up for his lack of aerial prowess at set pieces.. I'd wait until he's actually played against a side that have an attack before getting #@&%!y though. He's still slow as shit and weak as a kitten. Seriously brilliant squad player, just reckon we need more from a regular CB than he provides.
