gossiping ffs. players don't decide what goes in the press either.
Exactly. Now imagine Queiroz was the new manager at the time. Doubt it would have ended well for Carlos.

Guardiola eliminated the potential opponents to his ideas. LvG probably made them captains and assistant manager

are you actually asking me to imagine that quieroz had taken over from ferguson in 2005?

Quieroz operated under Fergie; the players would have had little choice but to embrace his ideas. The whole dynamic of the club changed once he retired.

I'm not so sure. United barely won anything when they went 26 years without the title and remained the best supported club and number one media draw. You don't need to win to be relevant. Just have to be the main story.

Sad times.
It'll be like Fergie never left.

This is true, but that was in Europe which I think does feel different.

Packed behind the ball against city at old Trafford surely a different vibe. Hope it won't come to that though.
Championship decider against city a few years ago and we didn't have a shot. When was the last time a Fergie team went to city or Liverpool with a positive approach? Van gaal's United were far more positive in such big games.

Being reported that a group of players went to the board to protest or raise concerns about MoU coming in. Probably Bollox but if true the precious little suits need kicking out of the club.
