palacios is excellent and will improve but modric will go missing at times this season just as he did last season. lots of ball players in that spurs midfield, they're really dependent on palacios to do the hard work for them and i think a quality passing team might just pass around him and expose the defence. fortunately liverpool aren't a quality passing team.
