nah i just object to it.

even if i wanted the sky lark i'd have to pay BT £130 plus £10 a month for line rental just to get sky broadband. i just think it's ridiculous tbh. i had Virgin broadband and tv (even subscribed to MUTV!!) til i moved here but there's no cable so it's £#%&!ed up. 3G and freeview

It's pretty £#%&!ing shit that. What are you paying BT for? to fit the line?

just to connect it i think - it's a standard charge

the place is wired for sky apparently but it's a redevelopment and the £#%&!ers didn't even wire in cable ffs, so even if it's in the street they'd charge for it to be trenched into the building

Throb - Sky paid for our BT line to be installed last year.

You need to order Sky and then tell them you need a line and they should agree to cover the £125 cost.

If you get an 18 month phone line conncetion with BT there is an offer on at the minute where they dont charge you the £122 conncetion fee. Just had my place hooked up.
