Mous previous squads have been full of players with %@#$&!s and character, we're lacking both ATM. Says everything when Smallings been our captain...

All this talk of a power shift in North London. What "power" do Arsenal have that has shifted into the hands of Spurs fans who btw will win £#%&!all this season just as they have every season since 2008

Fair play, they were impressive yesterday - that was a tricky fixture on paper.

Not really IMO. Everton have nothing to play for.

they have uefa cup to play for. they need to finish above arsenal to be certain. would have gone above them with a win. they play them on the last day. they'd beaten chelsea on their last 2 visits to goodison.

Trusted them too. Hung his hat on Smalling, Rooney, Mata, Fellaini etc.

Think LvG was guilty of underestimating the jump players need to make and the character required to play for United. Hopefully Mourinho won't. He's done well so far..

Rooney was, for me, the standout and most punishing error he made, and ultimately cost him his job at United.

The sales of Falcao, RvP and Chicharito were understandable and certainly they were replaceable, but he left himself totally reliant on a patently declining player holding the attacking part of the team together when fighting on several fronts.

We'd have survived a few dud signings if we'd had more firepower.

19 players out and 8 coming in under van gaal was a staggering turnover in 2 years.

Players like Van Persie, Chicharito, Evra, Nani...all left but not replaced with anyone near as good. Scattergun signings from around Europe whilst spending the better part of 200m.

And let's not forget the club giving Wazza a 5.5-year contract out of pure panic when they were two months from sacking Moyes.

I do wonder what Rooney himself made of it all. Must have known he was a fading force and part of him must have been surprised to be getting a huge contract and still having the team built around him years after his peak

incredible...Fergie going to the deliberate measures of paving the way for his departure as his final act as manager, probably thinking that Moyes would simply guide him out the door.

remember the 2013 title celebrations of Rooney sat on the bus looking like a £#%&!ing wet weekend? He knew what was up..he knew he was out the door.

£#%&!ing Moyes, the weak @#%&!, couldn't be seen as the bloke who let Rooney go. Caved.

Boasted about it to friends, subbies at the club on instagram, had a small tattoo on his calf....'MUFC HAHAHAHAHA'

Told a lot of folk he didn't care, ironically about the time he got the burger van in his garden, he'd told Coleen he was going to eat as much as he could.
She was quoted as saying "just how much Can we take the piss"

Used to sign cheques in alderly edge eateries as 'the money man'
They actually only had more kids due to the amount of money he was making and his contempt for the club.
Talk around Croxteth he was the best ever to rob mancs.
Also heard he covered the united crests in his trophy canine the at home with Everton badges.
Stopped yoga
Took an Irish middle name...

Presumably Moyes got told Fergie's plans at the outset - maybe that's why he got rid of all the backroom staff who were part of the planning.

In hindsight allowing him to do that was the second stupidest thing the club did after appointing him.

Just realised Chelsea were offering 25 million to sign him....Meanwhile, we offered nearly 28 million quid for a certain under individual

For me there's the balance between both ends. Imagine Moyes coming into the job and he's got Mourinho wanting to take one of his star men to Chelsea and potentially find the missing piece of their puzzle. The offer was pretty modest too, I think about £20m.

But just because you resist the sale, it doesn't mean you have to commit yourself to the player as the top earner for six years
