He looks like he's enjoying it there. Hopefully found his love for the game again.

Couldn't wait for him to leave but seeing him score again makes me smile.

Interesting how a side can be transformed with just one quality player in it:

Quote:
After allowing 34 goals in their first 17 games, D.C. have conceded just five goals in their five-game unbeaten run. Canouse put the improvement down to a few factors, including a general boost in confidence, an uptick in possession and less of a tendency to get stretched thanks to their new, slightly more compact shape with Rooney.
Great free kick though, he's caught that a peach.

Any US based Fredsters able to give us a steer on what level of football the MLS is at these days? Championship? Div 1? Scottish Prem? Either way it’s good to see him enjoying his semi-retirement. Good luck to him.

I watch Atlanta United when they're on Sky, mainly because Miguel Almiron is absolutely ace. Standard of play isnt great but no worse than the shit we're subjected to in the "EPL" from cloggers like West Ham, Cardiff, Manchester United and Crystal Palace

he makes the players around him better. i've never seen such a selfless player. he kind of lost his identity for a while due to his selflessness. it's great to see him enjoying his football and again improving those around him.
