Balotelli writes Inter epitaph with disrespect for club shirt

On Tuesday, while his Inter Milan team-mates celebrated their 3-1 win at home to Barcelona in the first leg of the Champions League semi-final, Mario Balotelli threw a tantrum by ripping off his jersey and hurling it on to the pitch before storming off. The forward, who had come on as a substitute, revealed that he was rattled by José Mourinho yelling at him and a portion of the supporters criticising him after a misplaced pass and a lackadaisical attempt at tracking back.

Fans will put up with a lot, but when millionaire footballers disrespect the shirt, it’s a step too far. Inter’s supporters wrote him an open letter, culminating in the words “to us, you no longer exist”. Massimo Moratti, the Inter president, called his gesture a “public suicide”. Even Mourinho and some of Balotelli’s Inter team-mates, who have backed him for much of the season, say they have had enough.

Come the summer, Super Mario is likely to become somebody else’s problem.

Get him in, play him behind Rooney, watch us dominate.

won't happen - Mourinho won't want him here when he becomes manager next year!

Fergie will be asking Jose who he wants in this summer to settle them in for him!

YHIHF!

Stroppy, lazy @#%&!. Not a chance. One of those footballers who will squander his talent because he doesn't have the sense to just shut up and play football.

If there's anyone who can turn it around it's Fergie. Look at what he's done with Nani this season.

Imagine it:

Rooney

Nani Balotelli Valencia

Milner Fletcher

Not at all.

I'd rather we didn't throw 30-40m at Spanish players that have never played outside their own league though.

I'd pay whatever it takes for Balotelli tbh.

Aguero too, although I have reservations about Argies.

He is the closest thing to Ronaldo after all, hey magic

Pay what it takes for a player who needs security from his own team mates and who can't go in to the dressing room withouit a pasting he is so unpopular? Not the best football business that. If we were silly enough to go for the slapped arse we should be slapping a measily bid on the table.

As it is we wont go near a player that disruptive and even if we did City would throw more money in just because they think competing for players with us means they are somehow also competing for trophies and the lad had his debut under their manager. Come to think of it I'd love to see the fireworks of him, Bellemy, Tevez and Adebayor all clamoring for the limelight; they thought they had bust ups when Barton was there.
