An interesting question arises here, does the football season start with the Community(or whatever the £#%&! it's called) Shield. I'd have to say no.

well the lower leagues start on the saturday then utd play sunday so i guess it starts in 23 days .i just cant wait for the season to start tbh

I'm not going, no. In fact I shall be in Provence until the Sunday of the Reading game. I think I land in England just as that game finishes. I shall be sitting watching the CS on French TV with a stack of beers if all goes to plan.

Starts on the 4th for me.

thats why i posted it.

starts next tuesday for me - seeing the boys line up for the pre season friendlies is always a good start - good to see the new players in training camps etc as well! and then roll on the start of the season, first league game for me! (not going wembley for the charidy shield - went for the fa cup so not that arsed)
