Right. Some clown on twitter quoted £450 for a Cat B ticket. Croberts is still after one.

Any spares give us a shout please.

would it be acceptable to ask the MUFC head of financial services to sort a couple of tickets for the cup final given the fact i've just sorted his complaint out with Virgin Trains?

A mate has just got sacked at our place for it....

A real bizarre series of events.

Had been there 3 years
Moved departments
Asked a new boss if he’s think about a new contractor for something
Offered him £250 if they could get in (semi jokingly)
Pulled in the next morning
Sacked.

We’d known the boss for years and he claimed he had his hands tied...once it was mentioned he HAD to take it further

Odd.

Looks clear cut. Depends on how much of a joke it was. Doesn’t sound very funny.

Working for a US company (last day tomorrow), we have constant training on this kind of stuff. Used to get gifted iPads, 5 star hotel stays and all sorts of stuff in my old jobs. Once got offered trip to LA to see Walking Dead being filmed (couldn’t take it). These days if I got bought a beer from a vendor, I reckon I’d need to declare it. Never mind cash incentives flying around.

So yeah, earsy - go for it

You just don’t expect people to grass.....

Just a simple “listen mate, you know that’s not the done thing....it goes no further but don’t ever put me in this position again”

It was stupidity but worth the Dole Queue ?

You’re right

It’s one thing when a procurement goon in Delaware £#%&!s you over, but a regular guy you work with every day. Bad form.

Still, offering a brown envelope in 2018

As dirty as touts and touting is.. you'd be a bit of an egg to pay for a season ticket and every cup came (Like Burton Abion) and then go to the effort of applying for a final ticket if you didn't intend to go..just to sell it to a stranger face.
