Maybe, but both are (sadly) done as United players imo.

Wes shit? Absolute %@#$&!s.

Been a very good player for United during his career. Prone to the odd lapse in concentration, perhaps, but he's always been a good, solid, hard £#%&!ing player. Put in many a superb shift in the shirt, too. Unspectacular, maybe, but a good defender. Can't see him being part of any deal. Wonder would Brucey try and get us to ship Welbeck as part of any likely deal.

wes should finish his career at united as he is first choice right back when rafael is out currently

Doubt he'd go there as it's too far from Botany Bay

He's been at Arsenal since the age of 8 or something, not sure we've ever bid for him.

I see Bruce has said today that Fergie has "asked to be kept informed" about Henderson. Though he also said "to be fair they've all asked to be kept informed." which limits our chances a bit. Though the kid's a self confessed United fan and I'm sure Bruce would encourage him to come our way if he is leaving.

I think he's confused him with Aaron Ramsey.

Is Wes the new 'Hate figure' now then.........

Short memorys some of you lot, can you not remember that far back when he won us the league.

Played the most games and was a solid player in defence.

A top player. All the slating he got for villa... he almost scored, bombed forward, but himself about in the tackle, blocked crosses, was up in peoples faces.

Apart from his penalty mistake, which he actually tried to hide (As we all would have done)

His work rate and dedication to united throught his playing career and injurys has been second to none.

File along side Fletcher, Scholes, Giggs and O'shea.

United through and through.

Would be sad to see him leave.

That's how it is with this forum nowadays. The loyal servants, some who have come through the ranks, some who have been here years, never complained about missing a game or spending long periods on the bench, are hate figures, or mocked when they step foot on the pitch like 'o'shite'.

Youth players who are still in their early 20s are dismissed as not good enough. Big fee signings are flops, bargain signings are just a sign that we're skint.

Whatever happened to just getting behind the team?
