Fergie has called off Friday's press conf

Think about it though.......

We win a thrills 'n' spills game against our deadliest rivals - featuring the first hat trick by a United player in that fixture for 64 YEARS. Not just that, but involving somebody who had been written off by pretty much everybody months before (including most of our own fans) Almost without exception, what do the next day's papers choose to lead on??

Some perfectly innocuous and, more to the point, factually quite correct comments about a Liverpool player. "TORRES A CHEAT, SAYS FERGIE" they brainlessly scream in unison. No, he said that Torres went down easily and made a meal of it. Which he does - not just on this occasion but ALL THE £#%&!ING TIME

The media reporting was utterly scandalous - I am not surprised if SAF decided it was the last straw.

Indeed others could follow his example - one might like to see "Red Ed" boycott certain media outlets if they continue to ask prurient, irrelevant "questions" about his private life

These over-mighty, self-obsessed @#%&!s need putting in their place once and for all

Rooney wants to play every game shocker. He's been saying that for years. It's been openly discussed by Fergie who has said that sometimes he has to hold Rooney back for his own sake.
