amazed we've got 5 out of the 6. glad giggs made it, been class this season. VDS is a surprise one, he's actually been pretty poor but the run of clean sheets have probably made people think otherwise. ronaldo as well i dont think has had a great season, but saying that i cant really think of many stand out players in the league this season. possibly lampard should be in there.

hope rafael gets the young player award

Yes VDS is a surprise... he's been average this year. The defence is what/who made him look so good.

Agree that Gerrard will probably win with the vote being split between our lot...

You have to laugh though - 5 of the 6 voted by their fellow peers I bet RAWK is in meltdown.

Pretty sure the votes are taken in February. Hence why Vds is in there.

VDS has had a brilliant season, and a brilliant year imo

Very few #@&%!-ups, hardly any goals against, and usually a superbly organised defence in front of him

top class

In 76 now this is true

The voting was done earlier in the year, before Liverpool had their hyped wins over us and Madrid and were well back in the race for the title.
Its between Vidic and Giggs.

Giggles winning it would be quite a feat for a 35 year old.

He's only made 10 league appearances. Why not give it to Kiko?
