But not happening. No chance.

We won't sign a cripple at the price they'd want. Too risky.

No way we should be taking a chance on this guy. Even if he stayed fit (not going to happen) All he has in his locker is pace and at 28 that will decline. No value and no sell on value don't want him.

Who gives a £#%&! about Sell on, we ain't £#%&!ing Liverpool. If you still think all he has is pace you are genuinely a know nothing #@&%!end. I was as wrong about Bale as I was LVG.

Would definitely want him - he could lead the Utd attack for years. Captain material.

Bale and Mhiki either side of the striker, with Bale taking the free kicks. Keeps Pogba away from them too; shame about his crossbar challenge but £#%&! it.

Depends what physical shape he's in

He's put bulked up significantly over the years and that would put a lot of pressure on those ankles

Don't need another player with re-occurring injury problems

Would suit a counter attacking Jose far more than this current Madrid side

Well, yeah, my point is I can't see how people can scoff at Bale when the likes of Lingard regularly gets a game.

I didn't say we should buy him.

It's easy to scoff at the prospect of signing a player for the thick end of £100m when he's 27 and spends most of his time limping these days, regardless of the alternatives already on our books, as we aren't throwing ridiculous monies and gargantuan wages at them. It is just possible to think there may be a better way of pissing those types of funds away...

100k a week is pretty gargantuan for someone who by rights should be a squad player but yeah
