McNair, Pereira, Wilson, Januzaj should all get a chance as long as there isn't some daft splurge filling the squad for the sake of it before the window shuts.
Only top quality should be bought in ahead of them. Blind & McNair is potentially the best chance of footballing centre back pair we have at the club. |

Adnan, Wilson and Pereira are probably the reasons we ain't signing anymore this season. This transition period will be like that of Fergie when Ronaldo and Rooney were growing up. Only future will tell if this generation of kids can deliver, but LVG is indeed taking a risk.
Btw, I'd love to see the tradition going on and I support this attitude of LVG to give the youth players a chance, even if we won't win anything. There's a satisfaction in seeing youth players develop and perform. |
