Good News! Darren Fletcher back in light training for Manchester United

Good news for Manchester United in preparation for next season.

Darren Fletcher is back in light training at Carrington Training Complex after have an operation in January to help his ulcerative colitis condition.

Fletcher has been battling a chronic bowel condition, ulcerative colitis for nearly 18 months.

Fletcher, who is now 29, had an operation in Manchester back in the middle of January and has this week returned to light running and ball-work away from the first team at Carrington.

Manchester United have various pre-season games planned on their tour and the club are hopeful that Fletcher himself can be involved.

Got this on email this morning, good news either way at this time of the season

His career could be extended into his late 30s after the break he's had.

Great news We'd have won the CL in 2009 if he wasn't wrongly sent off against arsenal
