Kroos says he's happy to play for another club when he doesn't get offered what he asked for. Pep then makes noises that losing him wouldn't be the end of the world and in so doing returns serve in the rally of contract posturing.

All standard stuff these days. Don't be taken in. I'd love him here as much as anyone. Been watching the £#%&!er since he was 16 and Eurosport did a half hour special on him (seemed odd at the time) going on loan from Bayern's youth system. But you have to take a step back and look at the big picture.

He's the super-German golden boy. The all singing all dancing aryan poster boy and natural successor to schweinsteiger as central hub of both Bayern and the German national team's future. He is as likely to come here as Becks would have been to go there in the 90s.

It would be really wonderful but I just can't see it.

[SIZE="5"] 'Here today, gone tomorrow' - Guardiola admits Kroos could join United

30 Jan 2014 08:49

[SIZE="3"]The midfielder reacted angrily to being substituted during Bayern's win over Stuttgart on Wednesday, and his coach has confessed a transfer could go ahead.

Toni Kroos could join Manchester United in January, Pep Guardiola has admitted.

The German has been strongly linked with a move to Old Trafford of late and he has yet to sign an extension to his current contract, which expires in 2015.

Kroos could not hide his anger when he was substituted just an hour into Bayern's league clash with Stuttgart on Wednesday evening with his side trailing 1-0.

The European champions went on to win 2-1 thanks to a 93rd-minute wonder-strike from former Reds target Thiago Alcantara.

And, after the game, Guardiola conceded that Kroos could well depart the Allianz Arena in the near future.

"He is an important player but things can move fast in football," he said.

"Here today, gone tomorrow."

Kroos has made 15 Bundesliga starts for Bayern this term but must compete with Thiago, Javi Martinez, Bastian Schweinsteiger and, occasionally, Philipp Lahm for a starting berth in midfield.

is he balls. Herrera is a box to box midfielder. There's only one box Mata should be near, and that's the oppositions.

And my wife's, if he asks nicely.
