yep
no holds barred.

It was bad enough when we were winning things but the perverse pleasure we all seem to be getting from scoring one goal in 8 games (or whatever it was) as we limp into 4th place is twisting even the most gentle soul.

could be particularly nasty without a World Cup/Euros to take our minds off it all.

I wouldn't be spending any big dough until he had another full season under his belt. He's not particularly fast and he isn't very skillful from what I have seen of him. Let's see how he handles being marked by and playing against defenders who have already played against him and watched videos of him in action for their first team preparation.

If he'd shown a modicum of special ability he'd be piquing the interest of the sages on the board regardless of his origin. Fact is he hasn't done or displayed any extraordinary traits, but is demanding extraordinary moneys. Let's seem him do it or anything like it again, then we can talk.

Not really. Plenty of average players score lots of goals. Jermain Defoe for instance, Marcus Stewart, Kevin Phillips and many more, all scored lots of goals without ever being good enough for United's level.

He's just had a hell of a 4 month purple patch for goals in the midst of just about the worst PL season ever. I need to see more tbh.

That's all he does though. What happens when the goals dry up? Makes you think.
