Knew you'd bite

It was the President's decision to sell him, which he made because Hodgson told him Alessandro Pistone was a better defender

Carlos wanted a move too though because Hodgson was playing him in midfield, tactical genius that he is.

Turned down moves to both River and Boca while at Banfield. He knew he'd be sold to Europe within a few seasons and didn't want to upset Banfield's fans by playing for another team in Argentina in the meantime.

Yes, nor sure why that's a bad thing? Preferable to him hitting the top corner I'd have thought. By the way, given the shots he had last night and andersons inability to shoot, another last night:shakehead:, is that an attribute you need to become a viofave?

no its not a bad thing for us

i was genuinely impressed with some aspects of his game though. won an awful lot in the air too ie he is not just a luxury player who spasmodically conjures up the unbelievable, and i wasn't expecting that from him

Did you somehow miss his obvious tallness due to the dimension bending properties of the television screen?
