One thing I've noticed...

this whole 'he's marmite, some rate him, some don't' surely proves he's not world-class? Because you can't class a player that 50% disagree is brilliant.

You might get the occasional Messi and Ronaldo critic, but the majority if they have a brain, will accept that both are world-class players.

tbf he had some lovely touches during the first half. If he carries on working hard he may well earn a move to Galatasary or Aston Villa one of these days. Good luck to the lad.

He's talking about teams that might test us over two games, you never know Zlat might even score, but I doubt it he's shit.

He's the main man at Inter at a time when Serie A is the weakest it's been in living memory.

He's alright, having seen him play in the flesh for the first time, I can now sort of see what the fuss is about.

Not good enough for us though.

how many other good attacking players does he have around him?

-he was a handful today and there is just so much you can do playing against rio and vidic and being the main attacking threat.

anyone who knows their football can see a quality player there.
his control, strength, ability to find space and the balls he puts through.(flick to stankovic for that shot was brilliant and the through ball also)

messi played against us last year and was similarly ordinary. only a fool would say 'he is shit because of that'

on the otherhand. how do you think europe would judge mr flicks after his shift tonight?

But if someone twisted your arm up your back and made you choose, who would it be Zlatan, Heskey or Marlon Harewood?

I think it would be big Em.

I think he's a fantastic player on his day, and showed it at times tonight, but there is some truth in what Andy Gray was saying as well

They'll have exactly the same opinion of him, whatever it is. Anyone with half a brain - who knows their football - doesn't judge a footballer on a couple of games.

Zlatan did ok tonight. Had one chance he should have buried and made two decent passes. However, his shooting second half was painful. He took out the corner flag more than once.

That moment second half, when Evra flicked the ball into his face - Gray was bang on then. You have to really want it, Inter are losing the tie and needed a goal. The smallest guy on the pitch vs the biggest guy. Have some balls and attack that cross it was there for him to win.

You can be sure if it was Ronaldo against a similar sized player he would.

Berbs isn't rated by loads of European coaches though, is he?

Zlatan shows glimpses' of his ability but never does it consistently, and pretty much never does it in big games. Not good enough to warrant any type of hype of a 'world class' player imo. Needs to do far more to fulfil his potential.
