Get the cup final defence sorted.

Eagles deserves another chance, stick him in Scholes's position with the first team around him and see how he reacts.

been on the fringes a long time eagles - real talent, great right foot, not bad pace. Hope he makes it.

a shocking team selection.

unless you support west ham.

as soon as he said he would put out a team good enough to win, you could hear the corks popping in east london.

although we'll probably still win.

Shit defence and bar Rooney not a single decent attacking player in the starting XI.

Sorry Ole, but I'm not sure you're cut out for 90mins anymore.

Glad to be proven wrong though.

And Heinze's. The armband is a golden goodbye.

Crap game. We could play for 3 days solid and not score. Haven't been impressed with any of our 'attackers'. Rooney's done well I guess but we simply appear to be playing at 50%. Fair enough I suppose.

Absolutely knew West Ham would nick a goal the moment Tevez went through, no one wanted to tackle him. Pathetic defending.

Today illustrates the need for major reinforcements up front. Smith and Ole are really not good enough for Utd anymore. Not been a bad performance really, dominated the game totally, but have over elaborated at set pieces and lacked a cutting edge up front.

Rooney is playing well though.

Indecision by VDS for Tevez's goal.

Smith and Ole will still be part of the Utd attacking line up next season IMO. I cannot see two forwards arriving in the Summer despite the need for them.

I do not rate Smith never have and Ole is finished.

Major problem, especially if Saha goes, leaves us Rooney who Fergie likes to play out wide a lot of the time.

Been remarkable how well we have kept going despite the loss of Saha, but when Smith or Solskjaer have been brought in the dip in quallity has been obvious.

Sort out the Saha situation and give Rossi a chance, would much rather see him playing today than the 2 who are labouring to no effect.

and made poor substitutions. but then he's a @#%&!.

we can talk about the problems if we play like that next week.

personally, I think momentum matters.

I also think momentum matters but Chelsea haven't got it either.

As soon as Ferguson said he'd play a very strong side I knew he was lying through his teeth.
