City aint signing Bentley. Biggest deal will probably be bloody David James leaving Pompey, this has been a shit deadline day.

Berbatov's thoughts on Petrov for Spurs:

Quote:
‘He does not deserve such a relationship with Manchester City and Spurs are a bigger club than City.’
.

Too right.

I think he's shite personally. Can't defend at all. At least he couldn't in the games I saw him play for Ajax and Atletico. Doesn't strike me as a Moyes type player at all tbh.

Yep, shown up as utter shite in Spain, at CB at least, marginally better at RB. After van der Meyde you would've thought Moyes would steer clear of Dutchmen.

Still, he has to be a better bet than Tony Hibbert I suppose.

I'd prefer Hibbert based on what I've seen.

I've not seen Heitinga for some time, but Hibbert is an absolute joker. How he is still at Everton is beyond me. A severe weak link.

Was he going to go permanently or on loan?

Time to un-stick this thread and let it sink, never to return and remind us of a miserable summer for our transfer hopes?
