Football Tottingham vs Man United - the official thread

I couldn't find one... honest...

Our form is abysmal after inernationals and Harry Redknapp is a @#%&! so I'll go 2-1 for Tottingham....

I'm getting good vibes about this one. People are tipping us to struggle but I think we'll run out quite comfortable winners.

My crystal balls are telling me 3-1 with Rooney getting a couple.

Is Rio back or is he still whizzing around on the giant ladybird ride with his bairns?

Not quite sure what the injury situation is with everyone but assuming Rio's back and the usual suspects are fit I'll go with:

Foster

Brown
Rio
Vidic
Evra

Valencia
Carrick
Fletcher
Nani

Berbatov
Rooney

Though I've a feeling Fergie might start with Berbatov on the bench and have Giggs in a 5 man midfield. Unfortunately.

I can see Park playing in front of Evra to give him more protection against Lennon.

Good thinking. I forgot about the trouble Lennon seems to give Evra.

Saying that, surely Lennon can't have two good games on the bounce. He's due a shocker.

Ando will score from 40 yards or my name isn't Derren Brown.

Harry will fancy this one. Fully expect crouch against evra and united to crumble. Spurs for the league. Nailed on.

foster
fabio - brown - vidic - evra
nani - giggs - carrick - park
rooney
berbatov
and endless bitching comments on here

lot of travelling for valencia this week and two internationals from a few of the lads. not sure how much rio trained/how his back is but i seem to remember reading that he was still not in full training yet. big call to leave out fletcher but he's had two hard matches in a week while both giggs and carrick are rested. wouldn't be surprised to see owen , welbeck or macheda start with rooney on the bench, or else anderson with giggs pushed up behind berbatov.

And let's see how long into the press conference on Friday SAF comes out with "I have to remember many players were on international duty this past week and we have to keep one eye on the tough away game in Istanbul on Wednesday, so it'll be an opportunity for some of the squad to get a game".

Scholes and Carrick will start.

As for Park, i'll be gutted if he starts.

We absolutely MUST start with Berbatov and Rooney as a pair. They looked like they were getting an understanding together against Wigan and then we had the inexplicable team selection against the arse.
