- The game is dead to be honest, corruption rife.

- Outrageously corrupt

- Game is crooked to the core.

- Scandalous. Football is dead

- Game is dying

- We could have easily done what Utd did tonight

- If Bayern knock us out and we end up winning nothing this season while these @#%&!s go far in the CL and get 4th I think I'll be done with football.

Etc, etc....
nothing says "We're back" quite like the scousers crying about corruption

Complaining about that after some of the penalties they’ve had this season never mind previous years

It's the ones accusing us of being lucky. This season alone they've scraped a few lucky wins/draws. What about when they actually won the CL. They scrape lucky results so often I'm not even bothered by it any more.

- If we do, it will be the greatest Premiership win since Sky invented football. No doubt about that.

I know Leicester's was special, but to edge out these cheats at the peak of their powers would be something else.

- It would be the greatest title win of all time, given what we're up against.

- Leicester's was great, but they had no competition really apart from Spurs. All the big guns had a season off.
And in fairness Leicester had spent a shit ton of money too, just not on their star names.

Course it would

So last season seems to have been the peak of their powers, not this one.

"This wound has been open since my experience," Gerrard said. "I am not sure it will close because I can't change that experience and my experience.

Gerrard won every major club honour except the Premier League during his illustrious Liverpool career, but while he insists that his other trophies help soften the blow of missing out on the title, the memory of falling short does not go away.

"I don't just look back to that one game [Chelsea] or one campaign," he said. "I don't overthink and drive myself crazy over it.

"At the same time, I have been honest and open, it was such a big year. It was the trophy that eluded me, so of course I am always going to look back and wish it was different.

You do need refs to go in your favour to win a title though. Look at some of the Manc title wins and all the decisions they got. That's the main reason why we won't win it, along with being up against a team who can buy anyone and get away with it
Proper conspiracy
