I actually rated benitez when he was in spain. He did similar to fergie/simone in disrupting the league. His Valencia side were great tbh.

Fergie destroyed him though but there's no fergie in spain atm and he's probably willing to be even more of a fall guy/yes man than ancelotti.

I can't see top players buying into whatever philosophy he's supposed to have, especially those who know him from england. Also ddg is much more likely to wait until they hire a real manager before moving.

So good news all round
