Nobody has said you should pick the team on the past results. Nobody has said that past results play in the upcoming fixtures.
The point, is that 25 years of games at Anfield suggest that it is never easy.
We haven't scored 3 goals there in 20 years. In that time, we've won by a margin of two twice.
Given the gulf between the teams there has been in that time, it should be easy a few times at least.
It doesn't excuse any poor performances, but it also shouldn't be ignored.
By and large, we simply do not play well at Anfield. Saturday was no exception.

I was at Anfield when they beat us 2-0 in 1992 to stop us winning the £#%&!ing league...now that was a £#%&!ing DISASTER...and a 0-0 draw at that shithole after we have spent the following 25 years completely dominating them in terms of trophies won I think i can just about live with
