He'll probably end up at Bayern Munich and I still wouldn't be surprised if Fergie wanted Stephen Ireland.

He really wouldn't cost that much with only a year left on his contract.

United will be aware of him for sure.

I'd be devastated if we signed Ireland. I'd take Joe Cole on inflated wages over that overrated piece of shit who lies about his granny dying.

So will City, who will probably offer Bremen £63m for him after the World Cup.

don't be driving yourself mad, there's no value in the market/the market is too narrow.

Maybe a few years ago when they were skint. But, even then it'd be an unlikely scenario unless the player forced the move.

They are now wadded. They can sell him to absolutely anyone. If he tries forcing a move, they'd just let him rot in the reserves...

The only way wiggy will arrive at old trafford is via another club, or on a bosman.

Don't need to be 'in the know' for this stuff, it is common sense.

Yea right

Ozil looks the £#%&!ing %@#$&!s and would be an immense signing, given his talent and age but you can forget it. I'm sure there'll be plenty of %@#$&!s in the press about us "monitoring" him before Bayern, City or Chelsea sign him. Then we'll get some bullshit from Gill about how there's no value in signing players not proven in the Premiership

Exacly, no way would City sell us Ireland unless they think he is a total dud.

Silva probably going to City for £29m - and someone on here was saying there was no chance of that happening .

We don't need Silva mate, we buy young players and develop them, don't we?*

*Usually sell them for £4-6m after 2 years when they've been barely given a chance, to a smaller club abroad.

Quite a lot tbh.

Looking forward to the 'Ronaldo' response, yep, we paid £12m for him but anyone could see he was going to be top class tbh.

We don't give young players enough chances anymore imo.

I'm just hoping Hernandez is given a good go of it, he looks decent.
