We might sign Fellaini and that'll be our lot.

I'd be happy with Fellaini right now tbh, be a decent signing.

At this rate he'll turn us down.

Need more than one decent signing tbh, him and a top quality attacking player are required imo.

Thats whats truly depressing about the whole thing there does not seem to be another option; people would settle for Fellaini because he ticks a couple of boxes. We have signed far too many of these middle of the road players over the last few years. We need a world class central midfielder but we seem to be incapable of landing one.

The likes of Fellaini or god forbid Modric will in all probability be signed but I think we all know they simply are not good enough.

They aren't exactly two a penny, tbf. Not that that excuses United's summer, of course

according to some Charlie on an espn blog, United officials are in Madrid to discuss Modric. No quotes/real links. Totally overlooking the possibility of us perhaps looking to fill that vacant no 7 shirt.

Still can't cope with Gail in a Utd kit, even though not a bad player.

So if fellaini is going to sign it will be today or tomorrow. Few saying his release clause expires tomorrow

Stop it. Neither are happening and that's a guarantee.

Got to admit to being pretty shaken up by our summer activities. A bit like being in a bad car crash that you escape from uninjured but which leaves you walking around the hard shoulder utterly lost.

You watch other cars and people going about their business normally but they seem removed and separate from your existence. And all the noise seems muffled and people come over and look at you with a concerned look and they ask you in muffled tones whether you're alright. You think you answer 'yes' but you're not sure you've actually answered and you don't know whether you are alright.

And then you look back at your car all twisted and wrecked and you start to remember fiddling about on soundcloud on your phone before......and the slow realisation of a true all mighty perfect shit storm embraces you.

Stay frosty guys, it's going to be tough.
