Highly unlikely but not that we won’t have good players in the future just that most of us are of an age where the selections above are just too good to replace.

Although Silv will probably do this thread again next year and replace Ronaldo with Sancho after he’s had a decent season.

tbf Fernandes is probably the only player in the past 10 years we’ve had who could be in with a shout. Way too early to think about though.

Some spots are just flat out reserved for certain players too (hello Eric). You’re not getting any better than them, especially when you consider the eras they did it in.

is it a case of picking the best 11 players and using throb's shoehorn to get them into a team? I mean... you'd play keane or ince at right back ahead of neville g, surely? or picking the best team? if the latter, you can't really pick ronaldo and then not pick rooney ahead of ruud.
