Jamie Jackson with the scoop we've all been waiting for.

https://www.theguardian.com/football...and-pau-torres

Although I think the last line is the real kicker

Can't see Rice coming, he doesn't want to leave and they don't want to sell.

Although maybe they'll be tempted by our offer of £25 million paid in 25 yearly instalments plus Phil Jones.

100 million for Rice. In what parallel universe?

Think Hames has been on the sniff again during work hours.

Meanwhile, 15 million is too much for Jessie.

So, Sancho plus a lot of looking...

Tbf, Sancho probably would have had us 6 point closer to City and may have unlocked the Viillareal defence

Aaaaand silly season is off and running. Only about half a billion quid for that lot.

Every year we get all this ‘war chest’ talk and it never happens. This year will be no different.

One or two and some shitty little Tom Heatons. That’s yer lot.

We're either shopping at Lidl or expecting some sales if that's true.

That’s more like it 👍

Acting like it’s £#%&!ing 2005. £150m gets you one elite player with a bit of change. One. And we’ll be throwing all kinds of leaks around banging on that we’re on for four or five tops players.

Well it does seem likely that some significant sales are planned this summer tbf.

Like?

Lingard, De Gea? They’re the only ones fetching any kind of serious fee. And I wouldn’t bank on either leaving for sure.

I’ll be surprised if we manage more than £50m in sales.

The same thing every summer tbf

Then the inevitable cluster £#%&!.

We’ll start the season with Lingard on the RW... “Jesse’s come back invigorated and its like having a new signing”

Etc.

Pogba not off, then?

I don’t think so, no.

Much like signing 4-5 players, this ‘clear out’ we’re always promised never comes.

Yes, but over several windows. He’s done a great job, but it’s the never the massive clear out the media reports.

I think talk of Pogba, De Gea, Martial, Bailly, Lingard AND then the dregs/older ones like Mata, Dalot is off the Mark.

2-3 in, one big signing.

3-4 out, only players who aren’t getting a look in.

I watched Trippier at the weekend, a lot better than I remember not just in terms of crosses into the box but little dinks forward to their strikers. Up and down the right all game. Would be a decent move.

Any chance of one of their midfielders? Not too fussed who just one who can take the ball off a CB, look after it and then use it. Unlike any of United's.

Pogba and Rashford. Neither worth the hype.

But one is still worth persevering with for a bit, the other not.

would be happy with trippier, torres and sancho. play five at the back - wan b would be better on the right of a three.

but two defensive/creative midfielders are top priority. would love to see garner and The Scottish Player step up. so would the glazers.

both match winners. would be nice to have a squad where, if they are not performing, they can rested/subbed.
